About Kòbọmọjẹ́ Artist Residency
Located in Ibadan, Nigeria, Kòbọmọjẹ́ Artist Residency (K-AiR) is a creative space for artist projects and research in art, history, and culture. Through workshops, artist studios, research facilities, and opportunities for collaboration, K-AiR supports its residents to create work of far-reaching impact.
Since inception, Kòbọmọjẹ́ Artist Residency has been host to some of the finest artistic talents in Nigeria. Among our alumni are Ben Osaghae, Duke Asidere, Nengi Omuku, Uthman Wahaab, and Ugochukwu Emebiriodo. During their residency, they created or completed work on projects that continued to push the boundaries of their creativity and artistic rigour.
